In a significant show of support, the Minister of State for Youth Development, Hon. Comrade Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, and the Senate Committee Chairman on Youths and Sports, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, have endorsed the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC). This endorsement comes as the SNYC prepares for its upcoming National Stakeholders Converge, a crucial event aimed at fostering regional unity and youth development.

At separate meetings, both leaders commended the SNYC for its timely initiative. Senator Adaramodu, who also serves as the Spokesperson of the Senate, pledged to rally the Southern Caucus of the Senate to support and participate in the convergence. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting regional unity and addressing the challenges faced by the youth.

Hon. Comrade Ayodele Olawande Wisdom lauded the idea of the National Stakeholders Converge and expressed the Ministry’s interest in partnering with the SNYC to host the event. He highlighted the need for comprehensive strategies to make the converge all-encompassing and impactful.

The President-General of SNYC, Comrade Emordi Caleb Ugochukwu, reiterated the support of southern youths for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders from the South-South. He praised the administration’s political willpower to implement policies aimed at reviving Nigeria’s economy and improving the welfare of its citizens.
